History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Mardred learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Mardred was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mardred's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Leshanna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Rimple was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Rimple alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Merla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
