However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kilia grew up listening to her father's many stories. Through the years after Kilia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kilia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
