History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Adept school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nagrette studied abroad. Through the years after Nagrette was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nagrette's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Baz does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels kind of lost in life
