History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Simon never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
