Personality: Erky wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Erky alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bowyer for the past few years.

Personality: Hatae is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hatae fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
