Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Five grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has achieved small success as a Knight.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mayor who has hired her part-time. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thava grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thava. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Balam was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Beggar and was forced into it by his family.
