Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Nykkan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Nykkan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but he was a colossal failure. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has achieved small success as a Carter.
