History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rivaan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rivaan. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Hunter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: She dresses like a well dressed Bookbinder does. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Abalaba is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and she has money and likes to spend it
