History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Laucian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Laucian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Valida hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
