History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vaina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She tends to her Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
