History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Azaki was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Azaki's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born in a small forest village. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Sumnes alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
