However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born in the east to a Dilettante, Adrik learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Dilettante soon after.
