History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Blacksmith father left her crippled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Blacksmith. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rosalind was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Rosalind was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rosalind's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now mingles about in high society.
