History: Lone hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Lone alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
