History: Oppleby was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Rosalind is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young.
