History: Gimurt was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to end her boredom

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Aline was born the youngest of three triplets. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
