Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his greataxe. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the left. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Navigator who has hired him part-time. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: This late middle aged woman wears red leather gloves, a red jacket, and tight pants and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is silver and curly. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she loathes her own lifestyle
