Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Namfoodle is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Namfoodle does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She stands about 4'7" and is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. Her right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her blue hair is still thick. She is baby faced.

Personality: Armara wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Description: This woman wears a simple black robe with white stripes complete with hood. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on her right hand. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: A 3'3" southern man, he wears a tattered pair of loose red pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
