Her tied-back hair is red. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Menny hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Menny and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born into a rich family. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. After a long history of fighting, Gormogord and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.
