History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shax grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
