History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Rûg abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Vepar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has decided she is irredeemable
