History: Qualen was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Tana liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Bhevek was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Apothecary. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and doesn't want to be a bounty hunter and was forced into it by her family
