History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he has a crush on the local laborer

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. A true patriot, Anselm would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born in the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: An older man who likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants, he is not a threatening figure. He has white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
