The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Eloise was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born in the north. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Oriff is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
