History: He was born in a small plains village. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sora hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud
