History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Verna took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
