History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
