History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Oppleby's homeland. Oppleby decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Miller arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Traulam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Traulam was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright.
