Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Jarana was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Butcher. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born in the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs and is in decent physical shape. His tied-back hair is blonde. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He got into the Animal Trainer business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Korfel hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
