History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jo. She tends to her Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

He prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available he will default to his bow. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is cut close to his head. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Reynard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Raam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
