History: He was born in the east. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Kairon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hecat and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and balancing her hectic life and new banker responsibilities is difficult
