History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greataxe use. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest woman in the south
