History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Pyntle hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She married young, but lost her spouse to goblins. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
