Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears long strands of ruby and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length yellow fur. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jade studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jade grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jade. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Armorer. She has worked as a Armorer like her mother before her.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.
