History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He became a Sage soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born into a rich family. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: Paelias is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Paelias studied abroad. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
