The war was a terrible time for him, and Sammal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her childhood dream was to be a Painter, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Glassblower for the past few years.
