After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Althaea was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
