Upon awakening, Eiravel discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Eiravel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
