History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jade was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
