Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Rosamund never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Guy's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
