The war was a terrible time for her, and Herleva does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Herleva was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Herleva's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
