History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Avice and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She got into the Miller business at a young age. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. The war was a terrible time for him, and Brottor does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Brottor was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Brottor's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
