Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Valida has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valida fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Actor arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and to share knowledge with the world
