Verna decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now owns her own business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. Her yellow fur is thinning but still full. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Armorer who has hired her part-time. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in the south to a Armorer, Smoking learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her youth she was a Map Maker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
