History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Orla took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor she uses now. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a great chef.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
