History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Ovak was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ovak's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
