History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Through the years after Shifting was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shifting's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.
