Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Umpen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He became a Carpenter soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Trey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Layabout soon after.
