Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Balam was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age her father died while driving off some giants. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in morningstar use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Nora is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
