Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Astar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Sariel reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 94. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she's in love
